Biography

Kelly Richards is a Data Scientist for the Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) department at Lonza Biologics.  This experience includes work with RAMAN spectroscopy, cell therapy, and mammalian manufacturing. Within this role, she acts as a local and global SME for multivariate analysis.

 Richards serves on the Data Culture workstream of Lonza’s Global Data Governance Board and is the Communications Lead for Lonza’s local ‘Women Inspiring Leadership’ ERG. 

Richards is enthusiastic about data culture, data strategy, and data communication. She has earned a M.S. in Applied Data Science from Syracuse University and a M.S. in Biology from Tufts University.
